Doodles and Disco are on vacation. Here is a blast from the past.
“Disco, I love you more than a hundred thousand million stackable containers all stacked together on a cargo ship crossing the Adriatic.”
“That’s nice, Doodles,” says Disco absently, patting his arm. “But I thought maybe the cargo ship could cross the Drake Passage. Then I’d know you really love me.”
Doodles’ eyes widen. “The Drake Passage has icebergs!”
“Who needs to worry about icebergs?”
“Okay,” says Doodles, warming to the idea. “How’s this? I love you so much that if an iceberg ripped this ship apart, I’d float forever on a shipping pallet with you.”
Disco beams. “Now that is a grand gesture.”
